My brother was welcomed to Riverside Lions Assisted Living by a friendly accommodating staff in 2012. He had been living on his own but his health was deteriorating. The balanced meals, which he savoured “except for the cauliflower”, soon improved his overall health. He has lived there for over eight years now and the staff have become his extended family. It was a blessing that he was there during this past year so he had daily attention even during the total lockdown phase. He thoroughly enjoys the recreational daily activities and parties. Mom moved in the summer of 2020. Not only was it an emotional experience in leaving her home, she was also moving in the middle of COVID.
